Fit to print

It’s been a bit brisk out, but that hasn’t stopped me from dressing in my spring style.

I thrifted this Lauren by Ralph Lauren skirt last year when I was visiting family near Kansas City. I liked the print and I purchased it, even though at the time it was a little tight. I vowed I would get in it. As you can see I have and  it’s a actually a little big (not so much that I won’t get a few wears out of it, but for $3 it was worth the price.) I guess you can say I can “fit to print.”

I paired the printed skirt with a navy faux wrap top that I thrifted NWT for $3 and a lace tank I picked up at Dollar General for $4. I purchased the navy kitten heel slides at the JCPenney outlet store last year for $5. I accessorized with some silver jewelry.

I recently thrifted the dress for $4.50. I paired it with some wedge slides I found last summer. I just love the tropical look of it and the day I wore it I was so wishing it had been warmer out too.

I purchased the floroal faux wrap top at Macy’s on clearance for $3.50. I paired it with a linen skirt (Cato) and red cardigan (Lane Bryant.) I accessorized with a skinny black belt and black Anne Klein peep-toe pumps.

I like wearing bright prints, especially in the spring and summer. What do you think of these looks? What’s your favorite print to wear?
